Certain species of thrips, aphids, fungus gnats, mealybugs, and whiteflies are attracted to this color. The non-toxic pheromone lure attracts citrus mealybug, the most common mealybug on houseplants. When they land on the trap, they get stuck and die. Replace lure and trap as needed, both available separately. Hang trap about 1 ft (31 cm) to the side or above host plant.
